I am very happy anytime I can save money.  I saved $50 today getting groceries at my local supermarket using coupons.  What many people do not know: Many of the Supermarkets will let you stack coupons.  You can use manufacture coupons,store coupons, and electronic savings(U-promise).  This will allow you to maximize your savings and sometimes get items for free.   Most will take computer printed savings from coupons.com and other coupon sites.

 I have also found out that many companies will send you manufacturer coupons if you email them and let them know you use there products.  I have also found many of the facebook sites will have giveaways of coupons for free or almost free items.  Farm Rich is one of my absolute favorites. If you like their cheese sticks, mushrooms, and other appetizer items then make sure you join.  Also I have become a fan of my favorite places to go.  Museums, restaurants, and chambers often have contests for free admission, dining or free stays.  These websites also give you the opportunity to connect with others who have the same interests.

Surveys are another great way to save.  How many people actually call the number or go online to take advantage of these offers?  Not many.  That is why many will offer you free stuff when you tell them about your service.  Chic-fil-a  offers a free sandwich when you answer their survey.  JcPenney's will give you a coupon for 15% off.  What most people don't know, is that with JcPenney's the survey coupon can be combined with the additional coupons they have in the store ad to maximize your savings.

Alright, I have to say I am a sucker for contests too.  During the past year, I managed to win enough free stuff from radio, t.v. station and news paper that I had to claim the winnings on my taxes.  It was great though. Most sites you can only win once every 90 days.  The odds online seem to be better to win.  Most people will only try to win by calling the station for contests.  I have won several trips,event tickets,gadgets and gift certificates.  I was able to keep my children busy all summer long with things to do without spending more than the cost of gas.  Next time, I will include some of my favorite sites so you can like them as much as I do.
